Chapter 6 Shlokas 42, 43
अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम्।
एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम्।।४२।।
तत्र तं बुद्धिसंयोगं लभते पौर्वदेहिकम्।
यतते च ततो भूय: संसिद्धौ कुरुनन्दन।।४३।।
The Lord further elucidates on the yoga bhrashta:
Such a one is reborn in a family of Yogis and wise men. Such a birth is indeed rare. Such a Yoga bhrashta automatically regains the intellect of his past birth and through it, he endeavours once more for Supreme Perfection.
The yoga bhrashta is reborn in the house of the learned and of Yogis. Such an occurrence is rare and precious. Even to meet such souls is a rare good fortune.
Consider yourself – you, too, are exceptionally fortunate. The Lord gave you a spiritual home. He gave you every opportunity to tap rich sources of supreme knowledge. He gave you association with saints and virtuous souls. He showered love upon you from every sphere. He also placed before you the path and the means of attaining yoga. He gave you a varied environment in which to practice – what do you lack?
You have recognised the method through intellectual understanding and through the grace of God, you have begun to tread the path of yoga. Now endeavour for its completion. You are also equipped with the sanskars or the accumulated tendencies of past births to do this.

1. Now sever all attachments.
2. Attach yourself to the Supreme.
3. Give this body to the world.
4. Sever ties with your body and do not use it for personal gain.
5. Make Ram your witness.
6. Take steps to ensure that you never forget your intrinsic essence.
7. When your concentration is solely on the Lord you will inevitably experience His Divine touch.
8. If you love only the Atma, you will be absorbed into It one day.
9. If the Lord is your witness, you will necessarily fulfil all your worldly duties.
10. He will hold your hand if you vow never to let go of His. If you wish to know what becomes of the yoga bhrashta, simply look at yourself. He obtains all that you have received.
