Maryada Purush Purushottam

O Noble Upholder of traditions Divine,

O Embodiment of the Essence Supreme!

Our heads bowed and with folded hands,

Humbly we pay homage to Thee!

Even as the Ganga and Yamuna conjoin

O Lord, grant us union with Thee…

Protect our aspirations Deliverer Divine

Guide us to our goal, hear our plea!

May we ever uphold Thy Name,

Energize our devotion’s fire!

May the knowledge Thou givest be imbibed forthwith

With Thy Grace this too can transpire.

May we in togetherness offer service to Thee

Be Thou our strength and mainstay

May jealousy and hatred never rise

At the refuge of Thy feet may we stay.

O compassionate One, gather us all

Into Thy loving embrace sublime…

We shall remain ever bound by the fetters of Love

If our hearts contain Thy Name divine.

We aspire Lord for Eternal Light

We seek That Immortal Self;

Thou art our goal and our path as well,

We beseech Thee… grant us Thy Self!
