I come to pay homage repeatedly Lord

Back to 'Sublime Prayers'

I come to pay homage repeatedly Lord,
And I lay myself at Thy feet;
Irrespective of when You will show me the way
I offer myself at Your feet this day
In the hope that my Lord I shall meet.

I know not the path towards actions Divine
I know not any Scriptural decrees;
I have not the means,
Nor Devotion it seems,
But my strength with Your grace will increase.

Will You call me foolish my Lord?
In ignorance I come to Thy door
You are the path towards my aim,
You are my knowledge and so I came
To Your threshold in search of more.

Only You can show me the way,
I've come to Your compassionate abode;
Infinitely I've sung these worldly songs,
Now for You my heart ever longs,
I'll ever traverse the path You showed.

May I ever hear the notes of my Lord
May I ever sing Your tune;
May I ever dance to Your rhythm Divine,
And to that rhythm may these anklets chime,
So that I reach You soon.

Hear this plea O Ram benign,
Free me from these worldly ties!
I am Thy slave, Oh make me yours!
I come attracted - Thy image allures
At Thy feet my homage lies.
