The relocation of slum clusters to Molar Bund in
South Delhi, provided Arpana with the challenge
and opportunity of walking with the community, from
despair and deprivation towards growth and the dignity
of self-help.
The
Arpana Community Welfare Centre, Vasant
Vihar, New Delhi, came up as a result
of a heightened perception of the necessity
of a Centre in Delhi under which all Arpana’s
services in Delhi could be planned, co-ordinated
and supported.
