Surgical
& Medical Camps at Gajnoi
Since 1996, Arpana has been holding free medical
and surgical camps for eye, obstetrics & gynaecology
and general surgery every year at Arpana’s
Integrated Centre at Gajnoi.
Highly experienced teams of doctors, and other
staff from Delhi and Madhuban render their services
in these camps for the poor rural hill folk.
These
camps are making use of the latest technologies
in surgery. The community is charged for the medicines.
Most of the population of the region is aware
about the benefits of these camps and are increasingly
utilising these services.
Special cases are brought down to Arpana Hospital,
Madhuban, for surgery. Some of these patients
are also referred to Sir Gangaram Hospital, New
Delhi, where they received treatment free of charge.
