Nutrition
Supplement Programme
Malnourished children and
anaemic pregnant women have been identified. They
are given nutritious supplements and motivated
and informed about good nutritional practices.
Mobile Clinics
An outreach programme has been started for a Mobile
Clinic to go to Aligaon, a settlement of 11,000
in the Molar Bund area, which had no medical facilties.
This endeavour is carried out in collaboration
with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi as it
is part of the 5-year IPP-VIII project for mother
and child care.
Antenatal check-ups and immunisations are done
4 times a week by an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife assisted
by 5 part-time workers trained by Arpana.
