Mrs. Sushma Seth, film

for dramatics, dancing and singing in Molar Bund.
In the stimulating ambience of her care, children’s
talents in drama, dance and music are blossoming
and finding colourful and vibrant expression in
festivals and competitions.
Programmes are periodically performed on occasions
and audiences are amazed at the talent exhibited
by the children.
Classical Music
Prof Dr. Mrs. Rita Ganguly,
international ghazal singer trained the children
to sing difficult classical music.
The children have performed at the India Habitat
Centre for the last 3 years to appreciative sophisticated
audiences.
Mrs. Sushma Seth has continued the lessons. Children
of Molar Bund are now able to sing with great
beauty and deep feeling at functions and performances.
Library
The inauguration of the
Usha Seth Memorial Library in 2004 was a celebration
of the love and dedication of the Founder-Chairperson
of Arpana’s slum programmes.
The library’s mission is to kindle the love
of reading and learning in the hearts of disadvantaged
youngsters.
Special library sessions were integrated into
the weekly schedules of all classes. Children
are enjoying the facility and are also enrolling
as members in order to borrow books to read at
home.
