Arpana educates Self Help Groups to secure the rights of disadvantaged women in rural and poor urban communities. Training Programs are conducted on dowry, female foeticide, minimum wage, civic governance, fundamental rights, rape, police act, and right to information etc. These training programmes resulted into pledges against dowry and foeticide, higher wages, accountability in local councils and increased awareness about legal literacy and fundamental rights.
