Scope of Arpana’s Services

“Spirituality engenders service.
Service without spirituality is like a body without a soul.
We are not here to do ‘social service’.Do not serve the other as a favour to the one you serve.
Serve each being as you would serve
a member of your own family.Serve selflessly and experience immeasurable happiness
gained through identification with the other.Forgetfulness of the self leads to establishment in the Self.
Those who are eternally free are the servants of all.”~ Param Pujya Ma

Arpana is committed at every level to the development of the capacities, skills, knowledge and attitudes of all involved in its arenas of service.

The Arpana temple itself is that crucible in which the elements of Scriptural truths and the living wisdom of Param Pujya Ma’s words and life interact with the individual psyche.

Here, introspection, self-evaluation, appraisal of one’s performance and conduct are engendered.

In this alchemy originates the awakening, expansion and development of Arpana members as they assimilate and practice the values of love, compassion, integrity and commitment in daily action.

This is the base from which all service activities spread – from Arpana to deprived rural folk and urban slum dwellers.
