Impact

  1. 488 SHGs have been formed in 248 disadvantaged villages of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh with over 6,000 SHG members with total savings of over 3 crore rupees.
  2. Arpana has started a Milk Cooperative Unit of Rural Women in collaboration with National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal.
  3. Over 2,500 village women are trained in Handicrafts in Haryana.
  4. Arpana is enabling poor rural women entrepreneurs through microfinance and capacity building programmes. More than 1,500 women entrepreneurs have started small business ventures.
