ETHICS POLICY FOR ARPANA

1. Will not compromise independence, quality of work or integrity.
2. Not work or accept funds from Organizations or individuals who will undermine the image         of our Organisation.
3. Will be responsible , ensure high level of accountability for use of resources.
4. Will be transparent  about our work and be able to give appropriate answers to                         questions raised.
5. Will not accept funds from 
      -persons engaged in unfair means to earn their income 
      - indulging in trafficking of children & women and other criminal activities
      - violate rights of children s listed in the UN convention of Child’s rights.
6. Will utilize the raised funds for the purpose stated . If need to be diverted will do only                after prior intimation to the donor.
7. Have open democratic, working systems, gender priority, non- discriminatory practices.
8. Endeavour to enhance the total environment, physical, biological or human.
9. Be non- profit, non – party political.
10. Foster justice & equity , alleviate poverty & preserve cultural integrity.
11. Be with people  without imposing our agenda on them.
12. Avoid being corrupt both mentally and spiritually.
13. Facilitate peoples efforts.
14. Respect the dignity, values , history , religion & culture of the communities we serve.
15. Remain non- partisan in any advocacy, public policy and lobbying activities.
16. Partnership between NGO’s will be on the basis of equality & mutual respect.
17. Strive to work in co- operation with the Indian citizens & the govt. to rebuild the country &         to improve the quality of life of the people.
18. Oppose & take no part in any wrong doing, corruption, bribery , other financial                         impropriety or illegal acts.
