Computer Training
All children, from standards 3 upwards, are in computer training classes. An Advanced Computer Laboratory is gifted to Arpana by Mr. Anil Lal from USA, to enable young people to enhance their IT skills.
In August 2010, Arpana and National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) started a three month computer course ‘Basic Applications and the Internet’, for the disadvantaged children of Molar Bund. Three batches have already been completed and certificates are issued to the successful candidates. In the last batch, 45 students joined this course, and 37 students took the final exams, passing with high marks. The next batch is started from April 2011 with 42 students.
Students of the NIIT course display their certificates in company with Mr. Anil Lal, professionals from NIIT and Arpana members.
