Founded by Dr. Raghunandan Gaind, renowned neuro psychiatrist, in 1994 to support Arpana's dedicated workers, and Arpana's activities in 4 states of North India.

Patrons
They have motivated several organisations in the UK to provide repeated funding, including :
Jephcott Family Trust have supported construction and equipping a training centre at Arpana Hospital, and lanes and drains projects in Haryana.

States of Guernsey have given annual grants for construction of staff quarters at Arpana Hospital, Hospital Equipment, Vehicles, and lanes and drains projects in Haryana.

Lotteries Commission (now Big Lottery) have given projects for health care & Development, and lanes and drains in Haryana, and for health and rural development in Himachal Pradesh.

HCD Memorial Fund have given grants for health and rural development in Himachal Pradesh, construction of staff quarters in Himachal, and for training of dedicated workers of Arpana Trust.

The Lions Club of Enfield have given a grant for construction of a 4 storey Medical Centre at Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh.

And many individual donors, especially Mrs Rukmini Buddhe, who has supported our Budhakhera Health Centre and health care in surrounding villages. Each member of the Board of Trustees has personally donated to Arpana's Projects.

Dr Davinder Kapur of Antrim, Northern Ireland, has given unstinting support to Arpana over the years, through repeated donations of money and equipment, hosting workshops with doctors from the UK at his own expense at Arpana Hospital, and in many other ways.

Mrs Neelam Kapur has also given of her professional expertise as a physiotherapist over many years. They are most valued friends and supporters of Arpana.

Dr Michael Quinn of Northern Ireland has personally organised and participated in sponsored cycling events to raise funds for equipment for Arpana Hospital, including a green laser for the eye department. (See his story in Arpana Pushpanjali Magazine Articles in Arpana's Spiritual Website).
